These images are of Spencer Scheetz, a George Mason University Theater major and actor, for a collaborative project with the GMU School of Art. A "neutral mask" anonymizes the mask-wearing person, changing how people respond to that person and forcing the actor to use all but his or her facial expressions to express emotion. Spencer succeeded very well.
